Oxcellence was not built in a boardroom. It was built in the quiet moments the ones where you're surrounded by people and still feel completely alone. It was built by someone who understood what it meant to carry pain with a smile, to look strong while falling apart inside.
Our founder carries the resilience of Haitian roots, the spirit of community that was instilled from childhood, and a deep belief that no one should have to figure out mental health alone especially because they didn't know help existed.

Mirdjine is the heart behind Oxcellence. A multilingual leader, community builder, and survivor of her own silent battles, she created this brand because she knows firsthand what it means to suffer without knowing where to turn. Oxcellence is her answer to that silence.
The Early Days — GJM
It started in high school with a group called GJM — Groupe de Jeunes en Mouvement (Youth in Motion). We used our talents, performing at events, raising funds and channeled every dollar into giving back: volunteering in prisons, visiting orphanages, feeding and providing kits for people experiencing homelessness. Over 100 lives touched directly. Not from wealth. From will.

The Birth of Oxcellence
Oxcellence grew from that same seed but directed toward mental wellness. Because mental health doesn't get talked about enough. Because too many people are suffering in silence. Because the stigma around it closes doors that should be wide open.
We created a brand where you don't have to donate to make a difference. You just have to show up in something that stands for something. The rest the giving, the advocacy, the community we handle.
